From a young age, Rinat and Elena were very close to the sports life. The first time Elena came to rhythmic gymnastics was at four years old. At the age of 10, she joined a circus studio, and from that time, she began studying circus disciplines. Rinat began training in sports gymnastics at 10 years old.

Since then, Rinat and Elena have participated in many different gymnastics competitions and circus performances on stage, but separately. In 2007, they met each other at Moscow Circus College! They started studying most circus disciplines together: Acrobatics, Aerial Gymnastics, Juggling, and Hand Balance. They created amazing circus acts, and finally, Duo Elegia was born!

Since then, they have shared all circus competitions and performances together! Here are some of them: Moscow Circus of Dancing Fountains Aquamarine; Moscow State Circus Named after Nikulina; Spanish Circus La Fura De Baus; Kinetix Show Summertime 2015, Tampa, USA; Cruise Lines: Royal, Cunard, Princess, Norwegian; as well as many different Gala and Variety shows around the world.
