Nick Rashad Burroughs is Broadway Veteran & recording artist and has been seen onstage starring as Ike Turner in the original Broadway cast of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical as well as Jimmy Early in the Muny Production of Dreamgirls & most recently the 1st national Broadway tour of Moulin Rouge as Toulouse Lautrec. Other Broadway shows include Kinky Boots, King Kong and Something Rotten, where Nick made history as the first black man to play the Tony winning role of Shakespeare. Nick is also an award winning recording artist winning a Pop Smash Radio Music Award for his album Groove Machine and can be heard singing “Ordinary Day” on Todrick Hall’s star studded & chart topping album “Forbidden”. Nick is also a Broadway World Award Winner for his portrayal of Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar and can be seen on TV in shows such as Baz Luhrmann’s “The Get Down” as “CJ” Netflix, “Run The World” as “Jeremy”on STARZ & Inventing Anna on Netflix.
