Known as a Renaissance woman, Teacake is an all around entertainer, artist, and creative. She began her musical theater career at the tender age of 14 starring in shows such as Ain’t Misbehavin’, Dreamgirls, Cinderella as Cinderella, and The Wiz just to name a few.

Teacake has also made a name for herself as a producer, director, choreographer, playwright, costume designer and performance coach.

In 2008 she began her cruise industry career on several cruise lines and has performed in over 70 countries.
