Bio

Klementina Venci studied at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art and graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under Professor Rūta Lipinaitytė’s violin class. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and Pedagogy, as well as a Master’s degree in Music Performance, both under Professor Lipinaitytė. Klementina furthered her studies at the Haute École de Musique (HEMU) in Switzerland.

Currently, she is a first violinist with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO).

Klementina is a laureate of several international violin and chamber music competitions, including the International Baltic String Competition (1st Prize, 2022) and the International Contemporary Lithuanian Chamber Music Competition (1st Prize, 2022). She is also a multiple prizewinner of national violin competitions.

As a soloist, Klementina has performed with numerous Lithuanian orchestras, including the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre Symphony Orchestra. In 2022, she made her solo debut with the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre Chamber Orchestra at the National Philharmonic Hall.

In 2018, Klementina was invited to perform for the Princess of the Principality of Monaco. A passionate advocate of chamber music, she regularly performs with pianist Lukas Gedvilas and cellist Justas Kulikauskas. The same year, she became a scholarship recipient of the chamber music project “Muzika visiems” (Music for Everyone), touring concert halls throughout Lithuania. In 2019, she participated in the “Side by Side” project with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam.

In 2020, Klementina received the George Mikell Scholarship for her project “1.2.3.4 – Contemporary Lithuanian Music for Violins”. That same year, she was honored with a Presidential Award from President Gitanas Nausėda for promoting Lithuania’s name through international projects and competitions.

In 2022, she was selected to take part in a project with the Karajan Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker Symphony Orchestra, and in 2023, she represented Lithuania at an international chamber music festival in Riga.

Klementina frequently collaborates in various orchestral and ensemble projects both in Lithuania and abroad, and she has participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned violin professors such as Boris Garlitsky, Dorian Xhoxhi, Baiba Skride, Thomas Timm, Peter Schuhmayer, and others.
